Freya’s Kiss

Born 2003 this lovely bay 14.3hand pinto mare is out of the APHA mare Abe’s Dry Pop, a chestnut tovero with reining points by the warmblood stallion RhoQuest who was by Art Deco. Freya has been with us since birth and there was never a kinder or steadier horse born. She was broken as a 3 year old and was shown lightly in Intro dressage classes. Then as a 4 year old she continued her training with Sue and schooling shows at Training Level with one of Sue’s students, Renee Miller. Freya and Renee scored in the 60% and one 70% at upper Training Level. At home she has been schooling a solid 1st level with some 2nd level movements. She has been out once in the late autumn of 2006 hilltopping and she was a gem.

She is currently in foal to Bocksbuehl Brondo for March of 2008. Brondo is homozygous for the black gene as well as carrying the crème gene. We are very excited about this foal since there is a very good chance that Freya is homozygous for the pinto gene, also Brondo has been gelded and is currently competing and winning at the Intermediate CDE’s so this will be one of his last foals. The foal is available for purchase in utero and may or may not be available for purchase after its birth.

ERAF Santeri

Santeri is a lovely 14.1 hand polish bred Arabian mare. She is broken to ride but at this time remains unshown. Santeri's filly, CLA Pinot Noir by CLA Black Label went Top Ten at the Arabian Sport Horse Nationals in 2007. CLA Pinot Noir placed fifth in the Two Year Old Filly Jack Pot Class out of  18 entries! Santeri is a big expressive mover in all 3 gaits, she exhibits the classic Arabian elegance and eye-catching presence but is very level headed. She is in foal to OLF Sequoia for March 2008. The foal will be available for purchase if it is a colt.

Branstock’s Fiera

Fiera is a home raised pony, born in 2004 she is 13.1 ¾ at this time. She was shown at the Rush Management Hunter Shows in the Pony Hunter In Hand Shows. She ended up Reserve Champion Hunter Pony for 2006. This year she was broken to ride, went to one schooling show, after she had been under saddle for 90 days and won a 1st and a 2nd placement. She was bred to Bocksbuehl Brondo this year for an early March foal. We are very excited about this foal as well. Fiera is such a sweet, elegant and good moving mare we can only assume the foal is going to be top winning champion pony. The foal may be for purchase, but most we will most likely retain this one for a while. After she foals out Fiera will be returned to work and her career as a top show pony and she will broken to drive. Her kind calm temperament should make her an excellent driving pony too.

ShadowBane

Bonnie was given to us by people who couldn’t be bothered to keep her off of the grass. They thought it was kinder to let the mare founder then it was to lock her up for half a day. It took us only a few months to get her sound and she has taught my son Gus a love for riding and even Fox Hunting. She is currently in foal to OLF Sequoia for a half Arabian foal and then will be retired and go to Ricia Zahn. Ricia will treasure this little mare forever and Bonnie will take care of Ricia when she is goes out for a little light riding. Bonnie has done numerous shows in Hunters, Dressage and Eventing teaching 2 very timid riders confidence before she was allowed to founder. Bonnie is was born in 1993 and is a black false few spot leopard and carries the sabino gene. The foal should be stunning. Hopefully it will black with lots of white.

Branstock’s Bramble

Bramble is a lovely, correct, stout, seal brown 12.2 hand born in 2005. She is by Bocksbuehl Brondo, black 14.2hands out of a little mare named BF Lady Slippers, seal brown 11.3 hand leopard mare. Bramble is currently being broken to ride. She is being lunged in tack, long lined and she has been sat on a few times. She is very excepting of it all, is easy to train and should make a fabulous show pony or driving pony. Bramble has very good bone, and good straight legs. She may carry the crème gene, I am hoping to have her genetically tested later this year. She is currently for sale but if I keep her into the spring I will breed her to my stallion Ryujin of a 2009 foal. We are asking $4500 for her that will include 30 days of riding or a breeding to Ryujin.
